excessive use of salt, ketchup, or other condiments
dieting when already very thin
Body Mass Index of 18.5 or less
growth of lanuga (fine hairs covering body and/or face)
irregular bowel movements (constipation or diarrhea)
cold hands and feet (may even turn red, blue, or purple)
dry and/or yellow skin
suppression of sexual desire
chronic insomnia and/or hyperactivity
sunken eyes and cheeks
visibility of normally unseen bone structures
compulsive exercising
frequent illnesses
perfectionism
loss of hair from the top of the head
sensitivity to temperature changes (especially cold)
electrolyte imbalances
dizziness
fatigue
excessive layering of clothes (to stay warm &/or hide
thinness)
